With the passage of time, the means of transportation and traveling has been changed from horse riding to cross distant areas and traveling for months and even years. With a time, new developments like Tyre, cart, etc. gave strength to our traveling means and gave us vast area to cover and explore the world. Better means of transportation saves our precious traveling time and reduce our traveling cost. Now days, we have best transportation services as compare to past and the first step to these comforts is bicycle.With the development in transportation, the need of tracks or road emerges and that became concern for people. Step by step from bicycle, motor-bikes, motor-cars, trains, water transport and aviation took their role in trade and transportation. People use these means according to their need.Current and Past RailwaysMy side of interest is rail transport and was firstly used to move coal from mine to the places to store. Then steam power engines were used to drag the compartments attached for traveling purpose in 1784. With demand this setup was established for traveling because it was not hectic as compare to old methods of transport. Proper transport by train was introduced in England in 1820s because a wheel rolling on steel rail requires less energy. By this invention England found its main role in worlds economy through export and import across the world. Time passes and this network raised and found its use and gained efficiency to the time that the metropolitan railway system introduced. System of railway expand to the different countries including Canada, Iran, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Russia, USA, Latin America, United India.
Tube TransportationTube transportation was introduced in late 19th century for the transportation of small packages or material to transport from one end to other using hollow tubes and to transport the material vacuum was used. This was invented by William Murdoch. These were established on a small scale and were effective at that time. Small numbers of the experiments were conducted for transportation of larger cargo.This system is still using in NASA, McDonald in Minnesota, in Hospitals and in banks for drive-up. These were not well established and other better services take a part in development. Many experiments were carried out to have passengers from one place to another by using the tube tunnels having tubes in which the passengers can sit and travel but these were not so effective. Tube train in America is working but has some modifications in theory and its implementation. Functioning about this train is as follow:
Two rails are present behind tube (positive rail and negative rail).
Magnets are fixed to the ends for movement.
Electric current flows up positive rail.
Current flows across armature and down negative rail.
Magnetic force is directed towards end of rails which pushes armature and train forward.
Maglev Technology levitates the train eradicating rail friction.
Reduced air pressure in tunnel cuts wind resistance.

Tube Transport in Railway and VactrainWorld emerges with technology and it helps for the advancement of train transport. Diesel engines were introduced then and were more effective then steam engines and were fast and have more capacity to drag load. That was an era when people prefer railways and railway stations were seen crowded by the travelers. Train transportation is cheaper and comfortable then road travel and is affordable for people as compare to airplane.Now this advanced and develop world changed the whole picture and now a days people travel in underground railway system having all essential and comfort materials. Metro trains are driver less and are operating computerized. And it has a specialty to stop as soon as the obstacle in line is detected and has braking system due to that it stops exactly on a station on required area. These trains have enough capacity to manage passengers as required and these trains arrive and depart on appropriate time. It is saying in west that people set their watches according to the time mentioned for train.These railways stations have all facilities including oxygen system, ventilation, communication setup (internet, mobile service and PCO) and all other utilities essential for human life. These railway system are developed with many brilliant minds and finding the solutions of all problems and hurdles in the way to achieve this huge and emerging system of transport and carriage. The train services have an advanced stage and are operating by electricity and are accurate and fast to travel with very-fast speed. These trains are named as Subway, Rapid Transit and Metro. As we know human mind and its worth, so the development in railway is not stopped yet and a new developmental idea in railways is Vactrain (Vacuum tube-train) that will travel with very-high speed up to 640-800 km/h using relatively littlepower. These trains relatively use gravity and lack of air resistance assist to increase their acceleration. If these trains achieve the predicted speed then trip between Beijing and New York would take less than two hours and will be the fastest mode of transport. China claims that in Southwest Jiaotong University is developing a Vactrain which will reach speed up to 1,000 km/h. This idea was given by Robert Salter in 1972 and was proposed to use open door chambers of a compartment to accelerate the train and gravity has its main role. Idea was to attach compartment firmly because if there is any chance to separate, it will separate on stopping due to force against gravity. Salter pointed out how such a system would help reduce the environmental damage being done to the atmosphere by aviation and surface transport. Implementation on Salters idea was too costly and was in an experimental stage. This means of transport will be revolutionary in the world to surprise everyone.
