Child Labor

Many of these include children who are under the age of 10 or less. These never see the inside of a schools building or the insight to their bright future. This is called child labor.  These children work in many categories as highlighted by several working NGOs and other welfare trusts. These include children working in factories such as cement factories, steel mills, manufacturing of explosive materials such as fireworks. Also, they work in mineral industries most leading one being coal mines. In addition to these, they work in transport industries, in metal and glass furnaces. The children are also found working in handicrafts and other small scale industries. They are also subject to other industries consuming their energies which should be solely spent on education only. They are forced to work as a result of several factors all due to poverty. These include nepotism, over-population and unemployment, lack of funds to support underprivileged children and un standardized education systems especially in rural areas. The world, however, has taken strict actions against such acts by passing laws that prohibit under aged children from working after completion of certain levels  of education. In order to rid our system of child labor, our government must pass laws and make the completion of primary education a must in order to work. The more deserving children should be given opportunities and parents should be given awareness to give their children the best of future and basic life necessities to ensure their brighter future.
