What is a social problem?
A social problem is a condition which is problematic for people in a community and they want it to be corrected. Everyone would agree about social problems such as murders , traffic deaths , overpopulation , illiteracy , poverty and environmental problems. They are being increased in Asia, Europe, Africa and they have to be controlled. Such social problems can be found at different levels such as:
1: Local Level
These levels may have several problems which are increasing day by day and they have a risk of increasing in near future in upcoming years. Some of these problems are low educations less concentration of students towards studies , increasing smoking levels , poor academic performances , environmental problems , different types of pollutions.
Apart from those problems there are some other problems which are very much dangerous to country and they are increasing with a risk factor of increasing in near future also. They include corruption , terrorism , energy crisis etc.
Literacy Rate in Pakistan : 49.9%
Literacy rate is very low and because of poverty there is a risk of increasing illiteracy.
